Bio:
Off Broadway: reading of Heart Beatings at the York Theatre.  Off-Off Broadway: Zombie Strippers, Bitterella, Grimm Late Night, and Pinokenstein.  Los Angeles: Out of Hand.  His children's works have toured the United States for over 14 years.  His commissioned two-woman Cinderella (Tears of Joy) has toured since its creation, recently going to the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta.  He has written songs for The Amazing Food Detective for Kaiser Permanente and Oregon Children's Theatre.  He has composed scores for two Classic Greek Theatre shows- The Birds and Peace.  Another children's work, The Tinderbox, played throughout West Virginia and the Northwest.   Pinokenstein, which started its life at the Eugene O'Neill center won “Best of Eugene O’Neill Puppetry Conference” for 2002.  Heart Beatings won the PAMTAs for Best New Musical and Best Score.  He created and curates 4x4 Musicals, an event of new musicals created to fit on a four foot platform.  You can check out his works at here.  Mark is a very proud member of the Dramatists Guild.
